Because of increasing numbers of court cases and individuals moving through the courthouse, there is a need for additional security at the courthouse. This additional position would need to be in the Sheriff's Department as a sworn deputy who would work as a security guard for the courthouse. Budget Amendment 44 is attached for viewing and approval if the Board is in agreement. Approval is needed to appropriate the funds to cover the salary for this position
