Request to Approve Updated Risk Management Job Descriptions

Summary:
While working on creating an updated Risk Management Plan for the County, we discovered that the two main positions dealing with risk management needed to be updated to reflect their involvement. The two positions being updated are Assistant HR Director/Risk Management Coordinator and Administrative Aide: Fire Marshal. The Mercer group worked with us to make the necessary updates and the two new job descriptions are attached for approval. Both of the descriptions now reflect the duties and responsibilities pertaining to risk management that were not included in the current descriptions. As the employee in the Administrative Aide: Fire Marshal position does a majority of the risk management duties not currently reflected in their description, the title and pay grade have been slightly altered to make it accurate and fair. In addition to the updated descriptions, the original descriptions are also attached for comparison. |
