Animal Control Ordinance Revision Request

Summary:
Candis Loy will present recommended changes to the Stokes County Animal Control Ordinance. Revisions include those to increase the restrictions on tethering and to include the Animal Welfare Division in the language of the ordinance. The Animal Control Advisory Board met and have approved these changes that they recommend the Board of Commissioners use to amend the ordinance. Attached are three documents: The current tethering section of the ordinance, the proposed and updated tethering section, and then the language change recommendation to include the Animal Welfare Division. |
